What is Love?

Love is "Intense feeling of affection".

Greek philosopher define love in 6 type-

1. Romantic love -

when two peoples come from different background and connected with each other psychologically.

Sternberg's Triangular Theory is “the theory of love” given by Sternberg’s according to this theory, love has three component-

I. Intimacy- sharing the things with your partner which cannot be shared with any other person.

II. Passion- basis of romantic relationship, is the sexual attraction to the other person

III. Commitment/decision- commit to your partner to being in relationship.

When intimacy and commitment have in relationship then this type of love call "compassionate love". And when, intimacy, commitment and passion have in relationship, then this type of love called "consummate love" (ideal love). After the lots of studies, researchers say that, when two persons of opposite sex are familiar, sharing things, having same thoughts and way of thinking, can have ideal love between them.

2. Familial love -
love for the family. this is for evolutionary perspective for protecting their offspring generation to generation.

3. Love for your friend -

this type of love is chosen by yourselves. In this type of love, a person has to decide to have relation with another person, generally this type of love and relation is for benefits like “sharing things that cannot be share with family or other person, sense of security, sense of companionship (you have somebody to spend time with you)”. Friendship is the best way to release stress from body.


4. Love for self -

meaning for this type of love is taking care taking care of your own need, Self-love is open and honest. It’s the ultimate commitment to know and accept yourself as you are.


5. Love for mankind -

rarest kind of love, do something for anyone with selflessness


6. Love for hospitality -

love for your Guest. in this type of love, a respect toward your guest.

As we know we are developing day by day in reference of technology, nuclear power, space discovery etc., We reached up to the moon, we sent robots on mars, we sent satellite into the interstellar space, beyond our solar system.
